Lingadoo Terms & Conditions

1) Who may use Lingadoo

Lingadoo is designed for teachers to use in the classroom. If you use Lingadoo on behalf of a school or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2) Accounts and account security

Use of Lingadoo requires an account. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure and confidential. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are used in breach of these Terms or in a way that harms the service or other users.

3) Classroom and student use

Teachers, schools, and other educational users are responsible for how Lingadoo is used in the classroom or learning environment, including obtaining any permissions or consents required by applicable law, school policy, or institutional rules.

4) Acceptable use

You may use Lingadoo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• hack, interfere with, damage, overload, or disrupt Lingadoo or any related systems;
• scrape, copy, extract, or systematically collect data or materials from Lingadoo by automated or other means;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code or underlying logic from any part of Lingadoo, except where prohibited by law from restricting this;
• bypass access controls, security features, or account limitations;
• use Lingadoo in any way that infringes the rights of Lingadoo or any third party;
• use Lingadoo for advertising, solicitation, or commercial promotion without our prior written permission.

5) Intellectual property

Lingadoo and all materials made available through it, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, game formats, and other content, are owned by Adam Isenberg, Lingadoo, or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Lingadoo for educational purposes. Except where we expressly permit it in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, publish, or otherwise exploit any part of Lingadoo.

7) Availability and changes

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of Lingadoo at any time, including features, content, and functionality. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we do, the updated version will apply from its stated effective date. Your continued use of Lingadoo after that date means you accept the revised Terms.

8) Disclaimer

Lingadoo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, about Lingadoo, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every classroom, learner, or teaching context.

9) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lingadoo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, business, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, Lingadoo. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

10) Copyright complaints

If you believe that any material made available on Lingadoo infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to info@lingadoo.com including:

• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• identification of the material in question and where it appears on Lingadoo;
• your contact details; and
• a statement that you are authorized to act and that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized.

We may investigate such notices and remove material or restrict access where appropriate.

11) Suspension and termination

You may stop using Lingadoo at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or create legal, technical, or security risk for Lingadoo or others.

12) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. The courts of Barcelona will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
