What it is
A vocabulary game in which teams choose the word most strongly associated with a key word. But there's no fixed rule about what counts as 'associated'. It's all just vibes! :) Choose two to eight teams, select level A1 to C1. Each round shows one key word and five word rockets. Teams take turns choosing which word they think vibes most with the key word. Before the reveal, they may click their rocket to return it and choose again. Stronger connections fly higher and score more points. If a majority of teams choose the same rocket, it becomes too heavy and scores zero. The teacher can increase or decrease the number of rounds mid-game. After all rounds, the highest score wins.
The teacher runs Vibe Rocket from a shared classroom screen — a projector, interactive whiteboard or classroom display. No individual student devices are needed: teams call out their choice and the teacher launches the rocket.
