About Quizizz
Quizizz (rebranded as Wayground for its broader platform) is a student-paced quiz tool: unlike Kahoot!, students do not all answer at the same moment. This removes the anxiety of a shared countdown and allows for differentiated pacing. The platform supports live class sessions, assigned practice, and a large library of teacher-created content. It also includes slide-style lesson content and a growing set of AI-assisted features. Results reporting is strong. The tone is lighter and more forgiving than Kahoot!, which some teachers prefer for language learning contexts.
