About Lingadoo

Lingadoo is an ELT-specific teaching toolkit. Alongside shared-screen games for speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and review, it includes classroom tools, grammar support, video activities, and ready-to-use worksheets. The library is designed around communicative ELT classrooms: teachers can open a resource, teach from it, and adapt the activity in the room rather than first building a quiz or worksheet from scratch. Games run with the teacher in control of the pace; students can respond verbally, compete in teams, or follow a live session link in hybrid and online classes. Content is curated, CEFR-aligned, and ready to use.

Who is it for?

Good fit for

Teachers who need a ready-to-teach ELT activity, worksheet, game, or classroom tool without first building material from scratch. Particularly strong for teacher-led speaking, grammar, and vocabulary work.

Less suitable for

Teachers who need to upload their own coursebook content or turn a bespoke vocabulary list into a custom activity.

Editorial assessment

Biggest strength

A coherent ELT toolkit rather than a single quiz format: games, teacher tools, grammar support, video activities, and worksheets are designed to work across a lesson, not only during a five-minute review.

Biggest weakness

Limited flexibility for teachers who want to insert their own materials or vocabulary lists into every resource.

Editorial note

This is our own platform, so take our assessment with appropriate scepticism. Its clearest fit is ready-to-teach, teacher-led ELT work across games and supporting lesson materials; it is a weaker fit when fully bespoke content authoring is the priority.
