About Educandy
Educandy is a lightweight tool: teachers enter word pairs (e.g. word + definition, word + translation) and the platform generates matching games, multiple choice quizzes, anagram activities, and word searches. No account is required to play. Activities can be shared via a link. The interface is extremely simple, which makes it accessible for teachers who want a no-friction way to create something interactable. It is not as feature-rich as Wordwall, but it is fast and free. Useful for vocabulary review without expecting too much from it.
Who is it for?
A shareable vocabulary activity built in minutes from a word list. Students open a link on their phones with no accounts or subscription needed.
Complex grammar practice, speaking work, or any activity that needs more than simple word-pair input.
Editorial assessment
Completely free, fast to set up, and shareable without accounts. Good enough for vocabulary matching.
Activity types are limited and the design is dated. Not a tool you build a teaching workflow around.
A useful supplementary tool for vocabulary review, particularly when you want something free and shareable. Not a replacement for more flexible platforms like Wordwall.
