1 Discussion

Discuss the following topics with a partner. Try to use at least three different conjunctions or linkers in your conversation.

Tell your partner about something you wanted to do recently but couldn't. Use 'but' or 'although'.
Explain why you chose to learn English. Use 'because' or 'so'.
Talk about your city: what do you like about it? What don't you like? Use 'and', 'but', and 'however'.
Describe a decision you made recently. Use 'therefore' or 'so' to explain the result.

Share one of your partner's ideas with the class. Try to use a linker when you report it: 'She said that ... , so ...'
